Job summary

Bare Home is seeking a Lead Demand Planner to overhaul forecasting, planning, and inventory positioning for a high-SKU, multi-channel ecommerce business. You will own the demand signal end-to-end, drive forecast accuracy, and lead S&OP with cross-functional teams to align demand with supply.

The role requires a senior, hands-on contributor who can implement systemic improvements, manage platform configurations, and partner with Purchasing and marketing on launches and promos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning experience, with senior-level responsibility
• Proven track record of measurably improving forecast accuracy, reducing stockouts, or lowering inventory exposure
• Direct experience leading or facilitating S&OP or integrated business planning cycles
• Experience configuring, optimizing, or implementing a demand planning software platform
• eCommerce, consumer goods, or retail background with seasonality and marketplace fulfillment dynamics

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across all SKUs, channels, and markets — build short-, mid-, and long-range forecasts.
• Lead the S&OP process — facilitate cross-functional demand-supply alignment meetings and provide an integrated view to leadership.
• Drive measurable improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory health across channels and SKUs.
• Partner with Marketing and Marketplace teams to incorporate promos, launches, and seasonality into forecasts.
• Translate demand signals into actionable inventory positioning recommendations with Purchasing.
• Own the demand planning platform as system-of-record; optimize models, safety stock, lead times, and replenishment.
• Lead process improvements to reduce manual work and build scalable, system-based solutions.
• Establish planning standards and cadences; document workflows for scale.
• Monitor inventory across warehouses and channels; flag stock imbalances and drive corrective actions.
• Present forecast performance and inventory position to executives; mentor junior staff.
