1898 & Co. in Chicago is seeking a Project Delivery Manager for our Business Strategy & Transformation Consulting group to lead high-impact strategy and transformation engagements for utility clients.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure delivery quality, leveraging your leadership, program management, and change-management skills to drive measurable outcomes.

This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and client impact across energy markets and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or other related field and 5 years of related experience required.
• Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of staff, management, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategy and transformation consulting engagements for utility clients.
• Structure and manage project workstreams across organizational, operational, and technology domains.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client sponsors, ensuring alignment, transparency, and satisfaction.
• Provide expert-level technical guidance and support for consulting engagements.
• Coordinate training, resources management, and support quality reviews across the practice.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
