Job summary

1898 & Co., a part of Burns & McDonnell, is seeking a Project Manager for Business Strategy & Transformation to lead cross-discipline teams in delivering strategic consulting engagements for electric utilities and related critical infrastructure sectors.

You will manage engagements from inception through execution, ensuring client satisfaction, value delivery, and alignment with budgets and timelines. A strong leadership presence and industry knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of consulting/management experience.
• Experience in heavy industrial/critical infrastructure sectors such as power generation or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams of analysts, consultants, and staff from inception to completion.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and client liaison to ensure on-time delivery and value.
• Develop and negotiate project plans, contracts, and proposals with clients.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC adherence across engagements.
• Coordinate across strategy, technology, engineering, and operations teams.
