Job summary

Computacenter (UK) Ltd is seeking a senior IT strategist to partner with strategic managed service customers as a technical lead, delivering governance, strategy and innovation. You will bridge business problems and technology, communicating at all levels to become a trusted advisor.

You will bring five+ years in managed services, experience with large organisations, and strong knowledge of IT operation, infrastructure and vendor governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology, business, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Managed Services experience of five years or more preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the IT industry and IT operation, technologies and products.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and tactical execution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across various levels.

Responsibilities

• Build strong influential relationships to guide customer strategy and its impacts with the aim of becoming a trusted advisor.
• Be the technical voice of Computacenter at Customer technical review boards and governance meetings.
• Input into strategic investments to meet future customer demand.
• Understand operating models of services and technology delivered to be the primary technical contact across the environment.
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with standards, processes and capability.
• Track technology debt, risks and opportunities and propose improvements.
• Translate complex technical details into clear language for stakeholders.
• Architectural governance of projects to ensure requirements and change impacts are understood.
• Support Sales, Solution, Service and Operations teams by reviewing proposed solutions for readiness and risk.
• Governance and control of Account technical deliverables; ownership of architectural deliverables.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives.
