Job summary

Boeing Global Services in Ridley Park, PA is seeking a seasoned Project Management Specialist to lead program management activities for the MH-139 training and sustainment efforts with the USAF. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedule, and deliverables, and ensure contractual compliance.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience with defense programs, and the ability to travel up to 25%. PMP certification and training program familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Program/Project management experience required.
• Experience with defense programs.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Rotary wing / helicopter platform experience preferred.
• EVM (Earned Value Management) knowledge preferred.
• Maintenance and logistics sustainment experience preferred.
• PM milestones, critical path and ROI skills preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Training program familiarity (courseware, instructional system design) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform program management activities in accordance with accepted project management industry standards and internal PMBP guidance
• Executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
• Integrates cross-functional teams, and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Actively manages financial performance, earned value management, cash and new proposal opportunities
• Briefing/communication to senior management, customers and stakeholders on program performance
• Shape and execute long-term strategic direction on growth opportunities
• Ensure contractual compliance, baseline execution within budget and schedule
• Ownership of customer relationship with the USAF Program Leadership to ensure partnership is being developed and maintained
