Job summary

Moog seeks a strategic Program Manager to lead multi-million-dollar defense programs from inception to delivery, onsite in Orlando, FL. You will drive execution, ensure contract compliance, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have deep defense systems familiarity, a proven track record under FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR compliance, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. PMP or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 years of program management experience (defense/aerospace or federal contracting preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Stage-Gate processes, SE lifecycles, or defense project tools (MS Project).
• PMP or DAU Level II/III in Program Management is highly desirable.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of defense programs, ensuring adherence to technical specs, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Implement EVMS to track, forecast, and control program costs, variances, and margins.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and manage contract changes or modifications.
• Maintain ITAR/EAR compliance for all program data and hardware.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and schedule risks.
• Lead or support proposal development including Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.
