Job summary

Moog Inc. in Goleta, CA seeks a Program Manager to oversee multiple production or development initiatives, with cross-functional coordination across Moog’s teams. You’ll develop plans, manage resources, and serve as the main customer contact in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a business or engineering field and 5 years of aerospace/defense manufacturing experience; DoD contracts and PMP are a plus. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
• 5 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations in aerospace/defense or similar.
• Lead and influence teams with strong communication and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to present program information to customers and management under pressure.
• Proficiency with MS Project is required.
• Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Experience with Development Programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management is a plus.
• Experience with DoD customers and contracts is a plus.
• PMI PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee multiple production or development initiatives valued between $1–$12M.
• Create comprehensive program plans and drive execution across Moog functions.
• Serve as primary customer contact and deliver required reports.
• Coordinate internal updates for alignment and transparency.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal/customer meetings and reviews.
• Produce regular status reports highlighting issues and risks.
• Assist in proposals, change orders, and fact-finding negotiations.
• Travel up to 10%.
