Job summary

Moog in Orlando, FL is seeking a strategic Program Manager to lead complex defense programs from inception to delivery. You will drive execution, manage contracts, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 5 years of program management experience in defense/aerospace, and familiarity with Stage-Gate, EVMS, FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, with ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 5 years of program management experience; defense/aerospace preferred.
• Proficiency with Stage-Gate processes or defense lifecycle tools (MS Project).
• PMP or DAU Level II/III desirable.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closeout of defense programs per specs, budgets, and schedules.
• Implement Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to track costs and forecasts.
• Ensure FAR/DFARS contract compliance and manage contract changes.
• Maintain ITAR/EAR regulatory compliance for all program data and hardware.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and supply chain risks.
• Support development of proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
