Job summary

ARServices Limited is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the DTRA RD NT Directorate. You will help design PPBE documentation, prepare spend plans, monitor expenditures, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track program financials.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of financial analysis/management experience, preferably in DoD settings. Fort Belvoir, VA-based, full-time position with no travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field; and/or 5+ years of project/financial management.
• Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis and management experience.
• 5+ years budget execution and burn-rate experience.
• Knowledge of DoD FMR, FAR, and OMB Circular A-123.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; quick learner of IT systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Excellent written and oral communication to senior officials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of PPBE, POM, and BES documentation.
• Develop annual spend plans, budget plans, and budget justification documents.
• Compile and monitor division obligations and expenditures.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial documents and reports.
• Track, analyze, and resolve division ULOs and URRs.
• Assist with purchase request packages for commitments and contract awards.
• Maintain financial dashboards in Power BI.
• Track and report updates on project/portfolio financial performance to leadership.
• Advise on financial management risks and budget execution for mission-aligned delivery.
• All other duties as assigned.
