Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the WIRE Office IBAS program within the DoD. You will lead financial management, formulating and executing budgets, and advising senior leaders through PPBE processes.

This role requires DoD financial expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently to influence high-visibility initiatives across Arlington, VA; Alexandria, VA; or telework within the National Capital Region.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process budget execution documentation (PRs, MIPRs).
• Manage and monitor program budget execution (commitments, obligations, expenditures).
• Develop monthly spend plans and expenditure plans aligned with program priorities.
• Analyze execution trends and funding risks; provide senior leadership with recommendations.
• Produce executive financial reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
• Maintain financial models, budgets, and reporting tools for analysis.
• Lead financial meetings to review execution data and resource needs.
• Perform reconciliations of funds and support DAR-Q.
• Apply DoD FM regulations to ensure compliant execution.
• Lead Mid-Year Reviews and other financial assessments for leadership.
• Support funding forecasting and financial reporting for senior leadership.
• Lead budget formulation activities within PPBE; coordinate exhibits and POM submissions.
• Prepare responses to financial taskings from the Comptroller and DoD organizations.
