Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or subcontract management experience.
• Experience with defense/aerospace programs and government procurement.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and CPSR requirements.
• Leadership of buyers or subcontract administrators.
• MRP/ERP systems knowledge; project-based manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance and ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for defense hardware, assemblies, and long‑lead materials.
• Translate schedules and MRP demand into procurement plans.
• Drive supplier performance for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage major subcontractors through production readiness and delivery.
• Support engineering changes; assess supplier impacts.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and PM.
• Lead RFQ/RFP activity, negotiations, and price analysis.
• Maintain procurement files per FAR/DFARS/CPSR and procedures.
• Identify supply-chain risks and mitigation plans.
• Develop supplier KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead continuous improvement in delivery and procurement efficiency.
• Coach and develop buyers/subcontract administrators.
