Cape Cod Community College seeks a Director of Student Counseling to provide clinical leadership and oversight for counseling and mental health services across campuses. The role focuses on accessible, culturally responsive care and integration with coordination of care.

The position requires MA licensure eligibility, 5+ years of clinical leadership, and experience with crisis intervention, referrals, and virtual services. Travel to multiple sites is expected.

Formación

• Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field.
• Current independent clinical licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain within a specified period.
• Five (5) years of post-licensure clinical experience, including with young adults/college students.
• Three (3) years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience providing clinical leadership, crisis protocols, and coordinated care.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for Student Counseling Services, including short-term counseling and crisis intervention.
• Develop and evaluate a comprehensive model of student mental health services and care coordination.
• Establish standards of clinical practice consistent with ethics, laws, and evidence-informed practices.
• Provide supervision and professional development for counseling staff and ensure quality assurance.
• Lead mental health crisis response protocols, risk assessment, and referral processes.
• Oversee virtual and external mental health services and ensure integration with college care.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Students to integrate counseling within coordinated care and case management.
• Serve as a clinical advisor on student mental health and partner with CARE Team and campus resources.
• Maintain networks with community providers and hospitals to support continuity of care.
• Set goals and use data to guide service delivery and resource allocation.
• Contribute to planning, policies, and initiatives related to student well-being and success.
• Manage resources, contracts, and budgeting for Student Counseling Services.
