Job summary

Southeast Arkansas College seeks a Dean of Student Success to lead Recruitment, Advising, the Child Care Facility, TRIO, and other student support programs on campus. You will develop initiatives to boost retention, persistence, and completion while collaborating with faculty and staff to expand access to services.

The role oversees student conduct, disability services, Title IX investigations, budgeting, and personnel, ensuring compliance with FERPA, ADA, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred for higher leadership roles.
• Experience in higher education administration, student services, or related field.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to coordinate student support programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Recruitment, Advising, Student Housing, Child Care Facility, TRIO, Career Pathways, and other student support programs.
• Direct outreach and collaboration with academic programs and community partners to recruit and support students.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve retention, persistence, and completion; monitor data and adjust programs.
