Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate in Data Transformation & Governance to join GTech. You will help embed governance into data migration, integration, and analytics enablement, covering both structured data and unstructured content across acquisitions.

The role involves inventory, classification, and documentation work, collaborating with data owners, stewards, security, legal, and risk teams to ensure data is accurate, secure, and ready for analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, data analytics, or related field.
Experience in data governance, transformation, quality, or privacy.
Familiarity with unstructured data and data retention concepts.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise data governance for acquired‑company integration.
Inventory and classify structured and unstructured data across systems.
Document governance requirements with stakeholders and owners.
Maintain ownership documentation and approval records for data domains.
Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, and Security teams on controls.
