Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Data Transformation & Governance Associate to join the GTech team in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on embedding governance, quality, and standards into transformation initiatives across structured and unstructured data from acquisitions.

You will collaborate with data governance leads, data stewards, data & analytics teams, and external partners to ensure data migration, archival, and analytics readiness align with enterprise governance expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, data integration, or related roles.
• Experience supporting governance, quality, documentation, migration, archival, analytics, or transformation activities.
• Exposure to unstructured content environments like mail/files/collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data governance documentation supporting acquired-company integration.
• Support data migration, integration, modernization, archival, reporting, and analytics workstreams.
• Build inventory of data estate including mailboxes, files, collaboration content, and line-of-business data.
• Record content attributes (category, sensitivity, ownership, purpose, volume, disposal).
• Prepare summaries of content categories for migration planning.
• Review unstructured content for regulated or confidential material and document findings.
