Job summary

Esri in Redlands, CA is seeking a Reporting Analyst to partner with Finance and Accounting to understand reporting needs, validate data quality, and model data for dashboards and automated reports across the organization.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to develop workflows, perform data analysis with DAX, M, and SQL basics, and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar Analyst position.
• Excellent written and communication skills, adaptable to audiences.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail oriented with a solid understanding of data accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams to propose, design, and guide implementation of new reporting solutions.
• Develop wireframes and document workflows to support reporting design.
• Research datasets, perform data gap analysis, and use DAX, M, and basic SQL for visualization.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to design, develop, test, and implement automated dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with Finance to drive continuous process improvements in reporting initiatives.
• Support accounting analyses and technical accounting research as needed.
