Job summary

Esri is seeking a senior Business Intelligence Analyst to bridge Finance, HR, and engineering. You will document current-state data warehouse usage, define future-state needs for Fabric, and translate business requirements into actionable specs.

The role emphasizes sensitive HR/Finance data, data governance, and robust validation across migrated data products. You will collaborate with data engineers, lead UAT, and ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis in data/BI or data warehouse domains.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, data mappings and test plans.
• Advanced querying with T-SQL, Excel and data profiling techniques.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic models and data lineage.
• Experience with validation, UAT and production readiness for reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to engage SMEs and engineers.
• Confidential data handling with RBAC awareness and governance considerations.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements with Finance and HR stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into implementation-ready specifications and data mappings.
• Create data dictionaries, data models, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Coordinate validation activities for migrated data products with QA teams.
• Establish data quality, governance, and security controls for reporting.
• Lead UAT planning, readiness assessments, and post-migration validation.
