Job summary

Google’s Strategic Negotiation team seeks a Senior level negotiator to secure infrastructure and energy supply for its rapidly expanding data center footprint. You will oversee complex PPAs, microgrid arrangements, and energy contracts, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in energy project development, utility procurement, or finance/consulting roles.
• 6 years of experience developing or structuring power purchase agreements for Microgrids, BTM energy, gas turbines, BESS, fuel cell or geothermal energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly complex energy supply formation and commercial structuring, including first of kind behind-the-meter energy deals.
• Drive cross-functional workstreams including market trend analysis, project economic modeling, risk assessment, system design analysis, and executive alignment.
• Identify new energy-ready sites and strengthen relationships with energy partners including IPPs, utilities, co-ops.
• Contribute to Google’s data center portfolio through energy due diligence during site selection and project development.
