Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with operational leadership, delivering high-quality data preparation, reporting, and analytics. You will extract, cleanse, consolidate, and visualize financial and operational data to provide timely, accurate insights that support decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong with data tools, and experienced in building scalable reporting and self-service tools for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis or related role preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation and analysis preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) preferred.
• Experience with other data analysis tools (Alteryx) and/or programming languages (Python, R). Proficiency in Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of analytical concepts to independently perform complex analyses and large-scale projects.
• Extract, transform, and consolidate data from multiple source systems (ERP, operational systems, external files).
• Develop, validate, and maintain KPIs and conduct ad hoc analyses for senior management.
• Proactively understand enterprise data and business processes to analyze complex datasets for insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and streamline reporting processes.
