Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with operational leadership, delivering high-quality data preparation, reporting, and analytics. This role focuses on extracting, cleansing, consolidating, and visualizing financial and operational data to provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, or a related role, preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc) preferred.
• Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g. Alteryx) and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, R), Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of analytical concepts to independently perform complex analyses and large-scale projects.
• Extract, transform, and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop, validate, and maintain KPIs and conduct ad hoc analyses for senior management insights.
• Proactively understand enterprise data and business processes to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline reporting, and develop innovative solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
