Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cyber Security Group Manager to lead a diverse team of managers, engineers and analysts responsible for enforcing, monitoring, and managing cyber security controls across the bank’s assets. The role partners with senior leaders to integrate cyber security tools and resources into business operations.

The ideal candidate will drive strategy for security controls, RBAC lifecycle, and cloud/on-premise security practices, while coaching staff and aligning with regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technology/business and 15 years of related experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and 19 years of related experience
• Leadership and management experience

Responsibilities

• Creates strategy influencing business methods and integrated security restrictions
• Develops an enterprise Cyber Security strategy with scalability and automation across lifecycle
• Leads architecture, planning and delivery of enterprise-level Cyber Security programs
• Documents and shares Cyber Security best practices for on premise and cloud solutions
• Leads use of Cyber Security tools for SOX compliance efforts
• Ensures IT strategy and architecture plans align with Cyber Security service programs
• Leads application development Cyber Security strategy for internal service and customer authentication
• Manages and develops Cyber Security staff
• Partners with business functions on Cyber Security strategy and requirements
• Translates metrics for executive audiences with limited technical knowledge
• Develops a high performing team with deep technical ability
• Prioritizes deadlines and objectives
• Ensures controls strengthen risk management and compliance
• Manages change with risk/impact assessment
