Amazon Customs & Trade is seeking a Program Manager to drive operational excellence in U.S. customs brokerage. You will translate regulatory knowledge into scalable processes, define metrics, and guide cross-functional delivery across operations, compliance, finance, and technology.

The role emphasizes implementing automation, standardizing procedures, and partnering with stakeholders to improve performance while navigating a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience developing operational processes and data insights
• 4+ years of experience in customs brokerage, import/export compliance, or trade operations
• Knowledge of U.S. CBP regulations, HTS classification, and import documentation requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategy for customs brokerage activities, including planning, automation initiatives, and process optimization across U.S. import operations
• Design, refine, and standardize customs operating procedures with cross-functional partners to build repeatable performance structures
• Create and own program metrics to gauge performance, surface defects, and identify trends for leadership
• Lead end-to-end program delivery for customs initiatives, including scope, milestones, risk, and stakeholder communication
• Serve as subject matter expert on U.S. CBP regulations, HTS, entry documentation, and trade compliance guidance
• Partner with product, technology, and BI teams to implement automation that reduces manual effort and improves compliance outcomes
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment to connect policies, SOPs, and internal controls to measurable improvements
• Streamline communication and change management across geographies to prevent silos and ensure consistent execution
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and institutionalize gains over time
