Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Compliance Strategy Manager to drive compliance solutions and strategic trade projects for AWS expansions. You will lead customs input, identify risks, and implement policies while partnering with Procurement, Legal, Tax, and Supply Chain across global operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, program management, and developing scalable compliance capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR, privacy, legal, compliance or risk management experience
• 7+ years of program management, project management or product management experience
• Strong business acumen including finance, tax and supply chain
• Industry certifications (e.g. Licensed Customs Broker) preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate as focal leader for customs related input for AWS expansions, emerging programs and strategic initiatives
• Proactively identify compliance requirements, risks and manage mitigations by establishing policies, processes, and mechanisms
• Work cross-functionally to help achieve execution against regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Deep dive trade topics including customs valuation, duty mitigation, classification
• Drive compliance program integration with AWS business teams and supply chain
• Drive adoption of AI-driven compliance solutions to scale program effectiveness and rollout
