Job summary

AMD is seeking a Customer Operations Account Manager in San Jose, CA to oversee the interface between AMD and customers, maintaining strong relationships and resolving order, supply, forecast and other operational issues. You’ll drive performance across lifecycle stages, inventory, and revenue forecasting, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with AI tools, and the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions.
• Ability to write executive communications.
• Strong oral and presentation skills; can discuss operational concepts with customers, management and team.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools.
• Ability to manage conflict internally and externally.
• Experience in developing and strengthening customer relationships.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to manage cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Executes timely/ongoing review of customer backlogs and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve (factory, finance, sales, and customers).
• Manages business through all stages of the product lifecycle (NPI, EOL).
• Manages inventory and DOI to prevent incurring inventory costs to AMD.
• Manages Demand vs Supply profiles for AMD direct customers or distribution channels.
• Monitors consumption rate and ordering patterns to perform standard demand/supply analysis.
• From forecast understanding and maintenance, manages on-time revenue forecasting as assigned.
• Identify and manage internal/external strategic relationships at multiple levels of management to ensure business continuity.
