Job summary

AMD is seeking a Customer Operations Account Manager in Austin, TX. You will manage operations between AMD and customers, build relationships at multiple levels, and improve processes to meet organizational goals.

The role involves handling backlog resolution, lifecycle management, inventory control, and forecast accuracy while collaborating with factory, finance, sales, and customers to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solution implementation.
• Ability to write executive communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in developing and strengthening customer relationships.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools and data-driven decision making.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely review of customer backlogs and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Manage business through all stages of the product lifecycle (NPI, EOL).
• Oversee inventory and Days of Inventory to minimize costs.
• Balance Demand vs Supply for direct customers or distribution channels.
• Monitor consumption and ordering patterns for standard demand/supply analysis.
• Support revenue forecasting based on forecasts and maintenance.
• Build key internal and external relationships for business continuity.
• Lead projects and processes, offering consultative guidance to management.
