Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Senior Customer Operations Manager to lead a team that handles and coordinates customer support processes from inquiry through delivery and after-sales service. You will develop and review customer service strategy, optimize delivery performance, and collaborate with sales, operations, and manufacturing sites to drive satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering focus preferred.
8+ years in manufacturing, project management, planning or operations.
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; SAP/AMSAP and business tools; SAP/AMSAP is preferred.
Strong English; Spanish a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international) with valid passport.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Manage strategic customer accounts and order fulfillment, control backlog, optimize delivery, and ensure quality standards.
Lead cross-functional communication with sales, operations, factories, logistics, and customers.
Drive continuous improvement to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the customer lifecycle.
Oversee post-sales support, claims, order execution, and expedites/cancellations handling.
Monitor account performance with KPI management, forecasting, and executive reviews.
