Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Director of Compliance to lead HR compliance strategy for the United States and Canada. The role is remote within the US with cross-border responsibilities, influencing governance, risk management, and policy development across functions.

You will manage investigations, compliance programs, and labor relations in Canada while collaborating with senior leadership to shape scalable, compliant business solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HR compliance or related field with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US/Canada employment and labor laws.
• Experience leading investigations and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage sensitive matters.
• MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
• Bilingual English/French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop HR compliance framework for US/Canada operations.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee immigration, visas and cross-border mobility programs.
• Guide policy development, governance and documentation practices.
• Lead Canadian labor relations including bargaining and grievance handling.
• Partner with HR, Legal and Finance to align compliance with business objectives.
