Job summary

Jobgether, in partnership with a client company, seeks a Counsel | Employment Law based in the United States. This fully remote role focuses on employment law, employee relations, investigations, and litigation management, collaborating with HR, Recruiting, and business leaders to mitigate risk.

You will contribute to legal operations through technology, automation, and responsible AI, while aligning legal advice with business objectives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of two years of employment law experience.
• Strong research, drafting, and advisory skills with business focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on employment matters including performance management, discipline, leaves, and terminations.
• Research and interpret federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Draft and revise employment agreements, offer letters, retention, severance, and restrictive covenant documents.
• Support internal workplace investigations with interviews and analysis.
• Advise on restrictive covenants in recruitment, onboarding, and acquisitions; coordinate with external counsel.
