Signal and Strand is seeking a Credit Analyst in Tempe, AZ to manage the full credit and collections lifecycle across multiple business units. The role focuses on promoting strong cash collections while balancing customer relationships and risk management.

You will review and approve new credit applications, resolve delinquent payments, and collaborate with Sales and Operations to protect cash position as the business scales. A strong background in credit and finance is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of commercial credit and collections experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to balance risk management with customer relationships.
• Experience negotiating complex situations.

Aufgaben

• Manage credit and collection activities for a portfolio of business units, including processing new credit applications and approving credit limits up to $500K for new and existing customers.
• Ensure compliance with payment terms, resolve disputes in a timely manner, and perform account reconciliation by reviewing aging reports weekly.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations on corrective action plans.
• Address delinquent payments by contacting customers and partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor for signs of financial risk and report action plans to mitigate exposure.
• Prepare and manage temporary extended payment plans for customers who need them.
