Job summary

Parts Town is seeking a Collections Specialist to partner with our Collections and Customer Service teams. You will review credit worthiness of current and potential customers and assess order risk to protect fulfillment and cash flow.

The role emphasizes collaboration, urgency, and a proactive approach to resolving cash collection challenges while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume collections and/or credit experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated and customer-centric.
• Ability to handle phone conversations with customers.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in work.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers via phone and email to evaluate orders and account status.
• Work with team to generate cash and future revenue.
• Process credit applications from daily queue.
• Review daily orders to determine if fulfilment is feasible.
• Manage rejected/returned statements and invoices, updating contacts.
• Create fast resolutions to collect cash.
