Job summary

Amada in Buena Park, CA seeks a Credit/Collections professional to manage assigned accounts and aggressively pursue past due balances. You will work with multiple departments to resolve billing disputes, report financially distressed accounts, and process adjustments such as tax changes and write-offs.

Reporting to the Credit/Collections Supervisor or Manager, the role requires collaboration and adherence to policy while supporting order releases on credit holds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in credit/collections.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.
• Experience with large-scale operating software.

Responsibilities

• Collect assigned accounts including Amada America, Inc. and Amada Capital Corporation finance contracts.
• Use aggressive follow-up collection techniques to pursue and collect all collectable past due monies.
• Resolve disputes or conflicts with other departments to conclusion (e.g., invalid POs, invoicing errors).
• Report accounts in financial difficulty to Supervisor or Manager as they become due.
• Process and submit account adjustments such as sales tax adjustments, A/R refunds and Bad Debt write-offs.
• Release customer orders on hold for various credit reasons.
