Job summary

Badger Meter in Wisconsin is seeking a Credit and Collection Analyst to manage an assigned portfolio, review aging and payment history, and help ensure timely payments while resolving discrepancies with customers and internal teams.

You will research invoice issues, verify order accuracy, and collaborate with clients to resolve financial disputes, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, problems solving and customer service skills.
• High school degree or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or JDE.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts by reviewing aging and payment history.
• Research and assist in resolving complex invoice discrepancies, deductions, short payments, pricing disputes, freight claims, and tax-related issues.
• Spot check customer orders for accuracy and verify POs, addresses and invoice totals.
• Confer with clients to verify financial/credit transactions and resolve disputes.
• Enter invoices online for certain customers.
• Set up new customers in the system and verify address, tax exemption status and invoice delivery.
