Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Cost & Value Engineering Manager to partner with North America Design & Construction teams, delivering construction cost engineering and value engineering services that optimize design, validate costs, and inform capital investment decisions across Amazon's infrastructure network.

From concept through bid-ready documents, you will develop bottom-up estimates, should-cost models, and scalable AI-enabled cost intelligence to drive sourcing, design, and investment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years defining and implementing data-driven process improvements.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in cost engineering, value engineering, or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bottom-up construction, equipment, and capital project cost estimates.
• Develop should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and Value Engineering analyses.
• Build scalable, detailed cost models for complex initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, procurement, and market teams to validate cost assumptions.
• Leverage data-driven methods to influence sourcing and investment decisions.
