Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
• Experience in cost engineering, value engineering, construction, capital projects, equipment, automation, or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent, bottom-up cost estimates for construction, equipment, and capital investment projects across Amazon's global portfolio.
• Develop cost estimates from early-stage concepts through supplier selection and implementation.
• Build and maintain scalable estimating models and templates while developing detailed bottom-up cost models for complex initiatives.
• Perform should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and Value Engineering analyses to evaluate design alternatives and cost drivers.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to automate data gathering, cost modeling, benchmarking, and pattern recognition.
• Drive the development of scalable AI-enabled cost intelligence solutions by curating project and market data and validating model performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Category Management to validate assumptions and influence decisions.
• Peer review cost models, estimates, and Value Engineering recommendations for technical rigor.
