Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support cost management across large-scale life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, advanced manufacturing, and capital improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will be driven, client-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle. On-site presence may be required depending on client needs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related construction discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management.
• Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing projects preferred.
• RICS accreditation or progress toward accreditation valued.
• Construction consultancy experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, value engineering, cost planning, and commercial practices.
• Experience preparing estimates, managing budgets, reviewing change orders, and producing cost reports.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on procurement strategies and support contract awards.
• Develop and review estimates and cost plans; present to clients.
• Review costs with contractors and vendors, validate assumptions.
• Prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts; manage risk registers.
• Lead final account negotiations and project closeout activities.
• Support contract administration and dispute avoidance throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure commercial success.
