Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Cost Manager to lead early-stage cost estimates, ROMs, and budgeting for the Puget Sound portfolio. You will design cost estimating systems, support budgeting for development teams, and provide benchmarking insights across projects.

Role involves maintaining Tango and SharePoint workflows, producing cost dashboards, and collaborating with project managers to ensure accuracy and governance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls.
• Experience creating conceptual and schematic budgets for large projects.
• Proficient in SharePoint, SAP, Excel, Power BI and Tango.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills with attention to risk and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop all early-stage feasibility studies, ROMs and cost estimates for Puget Sound projects.
• Provide cost and commercial review of budgets, proposals, and change orders to identify risks.
• Assist in preparing RFP inputs and ensure estimates align with requirements.
• Create and manage ROM and estimating tools for consistency and scalability.
• Administer project controls including acceptance, change orders, and closeout.
• Monitor templates and documentation across SharePoint and Tango.
• Coordinate bi-weekly cost reviews and monthly reconciliations; track variances.
• Generate weekly/monthly dashboards and cost commentary for summaries.
