Job summary

Sound Transit seeks a Pierce County Corridor Manager to align GCR, CEO Office, and Corridor Project teams with strategic capital milestones. This role requires political acumen, cross-team collaboration, and strong communication to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include developing engagement plans, advising executives, and representing Sound Transit with boards, officials, and community partners while maintaining a focus on equity and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or closely related field.
  • Eight years in a political or legislative environment with public policy, communications, or advisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic engagement plan aligned with capital delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate daily with GCR, CEO’s office, and Corridor project teams and advise on issues.
  • Flag risks early and elevate appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage Sound Transit leadership and external stakeholders; draft materials and presentations.
  • Support equity, inclusion, and safety in all activities.
