Job summary

Sound Transit is seeking a senior project leadership role to plan, design, and manage high-capacity transit corridors in partnership with local governments and communities. The role oversees design budgets, environmental reviews, and community outreach, coordinating with civil and system engineering teams and external consultants.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive transit project management experience, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, budget control, and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and six years of transit project management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff and assigns work across the corridor project team to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
• Builds partnerships with local jurisdictions and stakeholders to support station area planning and TOD.
• Leads environmental review and community outreach for high-capacity transit projects.
