Job summary

The Salvation Army in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking a Corps/County Development Director to lead all facets of fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement. You will design and implement development strategies to meet annual financial goals and advance the organization’s mission locally.

This role requires collaboration with the division development team, management of campaigns and events, and active leadership of volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum 3 years in fundraising and public relations.
• Strong leadership and volunteer management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive fundraising plan for the location.
• Oversee donor, corporate, and foundation relations.
• Develop and implement major gifts, capital campaigns, and special events.
• Coordinate with the Divisional Development team and track donor activity in Salesforce.
