Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Corps/County Development Director to drive fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement in the local area. You will design and implement development strategies, coordinate with the divisional development team, and lead a team to meet annual fundraising goals.

You will oversee mail appeals, major gifts, grants, and special events while managing relationships with donors and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in public relations and fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a comprehensive fundraising plan for the local Corps/County area.
• Oversee donor relations, corporate and foundation relations.
• Assist with grant-writing, special events, and media opportunities.
• Track donor communications and fundraising reports using donor management systems.
• Plan and manage mail appeals, campaigns, and annual fundraising events.
