The Salvation Army in Michigan is seeking a Corps/County Development Director to lead fundraising, donor relations, and community partnerships. You will design and implement short- and long-term development strategies to increase charitable giving and advance our mission in the assigned Corps/County area.

Partner with the divisional development team to manage mail campaigns, special events, grants, and media opportunities while supervising staff and ensuring timely donor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of public relations and fundraising experience.
• Background in fundraising and marketing; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead a comprehensive fundraising plan for the Corps/County in coordination with leadership.
• Oversee donor relations across individuals, corporations and foundations; manage campaigns and events.
• Coordinate mail appeals with divisional team and track communications, gifts and reports in Salesforce.
• Plan and promote fundraising initiatives and capital campaigns; develop major gift strategies.
• Represent the Corps at public relations activities and maintain donor communications.
