Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple divisions and locations.

You will partner with HR Generalists, hiring managers, and leadership to identify staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and coordinate the selection, hiring, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities include posting jobs, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and handling pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Experience with ATS and job boards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate with HR and leadership across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions across multiple divisions and locations.
• Partner with HR Generalists and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Create, post, and manage job advertisements across platforms to attract candidates.
• Proactively source, screen, and evaluate candidates to build talent pipelines.
• Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Extend offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screenings).
• Support smooth transition from candidate selection to first day of employment.
• Coordinate conversion of temporary/contract employees to full-time as needed.
• Participate in offsite recruiting events and career fairs; assist with onsite events.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and ATS records; ensure compliance with policies.
