Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Associate to join our corporate practice. This position can be based out of any US office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience advising domestic and international companies seeking to expand or relocate in the US; advising companies across a wide range of industries with the development of new corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities, data centers, and large office projects; and identifying and negotiating

Qualifications

Proven ability to research and write persuasively for legal matters.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough legal research to inform case/transaction strategy.
Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence with high accuracy.
Assist/manage complex cases/transactions from inception to resolution.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and professional communication.
Collaborate with lawyers and professionals to develop innovative strategies.
Attend hearings, depositions, and negotiations as required.
Stay updated on legal standards and precedents; pursue ongoing professional development.
