Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Associate to join our corporate practice. This position can be based out of any US office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience advising domestic and international companies seeking to expand or relocate in the US; advising companies across a wide range of industries with the development of new corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities, data centers, and large office projects; and identifying and negotiating

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of office.
• Minimum 6 years of experience at a leading law firm.

Responsibilities

• Legal research to support case/transaction strategy.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
• Manage complex cases/transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with timely updates.
• Collaborate with lawyers and professionals to develop strategies.
• Attend hearings, depositions, negotiations and trials.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with laws and precedents.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and leadership skills.
• Engage in firm citizenship and pro bono initiatives.
