Job summary

The role handles labor and employment investigations, intellectual property, employee benefits matters, and training, while supervising paralegal staff and coordinating with outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a law degree and be admitted to Louisiana bar.
• Minimum of ten years in corporate legal department or law firm.
• Experience in labor and employment, IP, and construction law.
• Experience with board governance and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal advisor on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Assist GC and Director of Contracts on contract matters.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage legal resources.
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, international laws.
• Develop corporate policies and training.
