Job summary

STRATTEC SECURITY CORPORATION, headquartered in Glendale, WI, seeks a Corporate Controller to partner with the CFO in managing global accounting, reporting, and finance processes. You will lead FP&A and accounting teams, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive improvements in financial controls and systems.

The role focuses on month-end consolidation, external reporting, and strategic analysis to support growth and efficiency across US and international operations.

Qualifications

• CPA with minimum 20 years of experience preferably with oversight of the accounting function in a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting from a four year college or university.
• Proven experience in all aspects of the finance function and supporting growth/transformation.
• Direct experience in a manufacturing or products driven business.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and accounting teams in accurate month-end consolidation and reporting.
• Oversee external financial reporting including SEC filings and management commentary.
• Drive improvements in financial processes and tools to support long-term strategy.
• Coordinate with auditors, lenders and third-party consultants on financial matters.
• Develop and mentor finance staff and participate in recruiting initiatives.
