Job summary

Paylocity seeks an experienced accounting leader to oversee the Corporate Accounting Department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial statements and annual audits.

You will analyze financial data, strengthen internal controls, coordinate with departments to develop the annual budget, and provide management with decision-support through cost and variance analysis. The role requires strong Excel and ERP skills, with a background in manufacturing or cost accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting with five to seven years exposure to manufacturing departments and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost accounting, variance analysis and general ledger.
• Supervisory and multi-tasking abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Corporate Accounting Department for timely financial reports and audits.
• Analyze financial data and recommend improvements to systems and performance.
• Maintain internal controls and allocate department workload effectively.
• Provide management with cost and variance analysis for decision making.
• Coordinate annual budgeting with departments and obtain management approval.
• Support CFO with accurate and timely information for financial needs.
• Participate in year-end audit and closing processes.
