Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness across AP, AR, and administrative accounting. You will lead the accounting team, coordinate the monthly close, and partner with the Controller and Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5-8+ years progressive accounting experience desired.
• Experience supervising accounting personnel.
• CPA or other professional certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and administrative accounting tasks.
• Supervise and develop the Accounting Administrator and AP/AR staff.
• Establish priorities and ensure timely, accurate accounting activities.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance with policies.
