Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a Corporate Banking professional to act as the primary advisor for a portfolio of clients, develop new business, and manage revenue-generating relationships. You will assess client and bank risk, cross-sell banking products, and craft an overall client relationship strategy.

You will meet sales and retention goals, expand existing relationships, and coordinate with risk officers and product specialists to serve clients.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Commercial Lending experience required.
• Formal credit training by national or large regional bank preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance.
• Strong marketing and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and highly disciplined.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive goals.
• Ability to analyze financial conditions and industry trends.
• Excellent and effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and CRM Applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed individual sales and retention goals following compliance policies.
• Independently expand relationships and solicit new business through referrals and cold calls.
• Direct and manage sales and service of financial services to Corporate Banking clients.
• Coordinate with Risk Officers and Product Specialists to meet client needs.
• Review loan requests and participate in underwriting with Risk Officers.
• Negotiate loan terms under bank policies and market conditions.
• Ensure loans close per procedures and CAR conditions with closing staff.
• Monitor portfolio quality and reports, aiming to minimize loan losses.
