Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a Corporate Banker Associate to grow and manage corporate banking relationships under the guidance of executives and directors. The role builds expertise across relationship management, business development, credit analysis, and risk assessment, with opportunities for formal credit training and advancement within Corporate Banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• 2-4 years in corporate/commercial banking or financial services with client relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed deposits, loans, fee income, and client retention targets.
• Analyze complex financial and credit information to assess creditworthiness and inform lending decisions.
• Coordinate underwriting, renewals, annual reviews, covenant compliance, and collateral monitoring.
• Prepare portfolio and pipeline reports, relationship assessments, and credit/memoranda materials.
• Support relationship managers with client meetings, call plans, and junior staff development.
• Identify business opportunities and lead-generation strategies in target markets.
• Collaborate with Credit, Legal, Treasury, Compliance, and other stakeholders to close loans.
• Conduct market research and prepare client-facing presentations to drive growth.
